Switchboard is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a speaker at the GSMA-mHealth Alliance Mobile Health Summit in Cape Town, South Africa held on May 29 – June 1, 2012.

The Summit “will deliver a thought-leadership conference programme that will cover the hottest topics in mobile health: service-provider business-models and MNO partnerships, through regulation and privacy, to on-the-ground innovations that are saving lives.”

Switchboard CEO Eric Woods will be speaking on the Building Health Workforce Capacity panel.  Other speakers at the Summit include Axel Nemetz, Head of Health for Vodafone; Gustav Praekelt, CEO of Praekelt; and Robert Fabricant, Vice President of Creative, frog.

With innovations and practitioners from around the globe, the Summit will demonstrate the economical scale, the sustainability, and the challenges of mobile health initiatives in the developing world.
